Meaningful Holidays, Manageable Expectations: A Parent Wellness Discussion

A two-part discussion group for working parents of children ages 1-5 who want to create a meaningful holiday season without becoming overwhelmed by the pressure that often comes with it. Through guided discussion, reflection, and peer learning, parents will explore how to align holiday traditions and expectations with their family's values rather than external pressures. Participants will learn mindfulness-based strategies to stay present during this busy season and find more joy in the everyday moments that make childhood special. The cohort will also focus on embracing flexibility and setting age-appropriate expectations as toddlers navigate holiday experiences in their own unique ways. Together, parents will develop practical tools to reduce stress, cherish connection, and create the kind of holiday memories that matter most to their families.

This series will be facilitated by a Parent Wellness Expert and will meet for 2 consecutive weeks on Zoom:

  • Friday, November 13, 2:00pm EDT/1:00pm CDT

  • Friday, November 20, 2:00pm EDT/1:00pm CDT
