Becoming a Parent: Navigating the First Year

This three‑session discussion group explores the emotional, developmental, and practical realities of the first year of parenting. Each session blends evidence‑informed guidance with open conversation, helping parents build confidence, normalize challenges, and feel more supported. Participants can reflect on their evolving identity as caregivers, learn about infant development and communication, and share strategies for managing stress, relationships, and daily routines.

This series will be facilitated by a Parent Wellness Expert and will meet for 3 consecutive weeks on Zoom:

  • Wednesday, June 10, 12:00pm EDT/11:00am CDT

  • Wednesday, June 17, 12:00pm EDT/11:00am CDT

  • Wednesday, June 24, 12:00pm EDT/11:00am CDT
