Smart About Screens: A Family Guide to Digital Literacy

This is an interactive series designed to help parents navigate the challenges of managing screen time for kids. The group, co-led by two Parent Wellness Experts, begins with a general session that covers the latest research, expert recommendations, and healthy screen habits for families. The second session includes age specific information and discussion to explore developmentally appropriate strategies, challenges, and tools (one for parents of children ages 1-5 and one for parents of children ages 6-12). The group closes with an optional Q&A and interactive workshop, where parents can ask questions and begin creating a personalized Family Media Plan with guidance from the facilitators. Whether you’re looking to set boundaries, reduce conflict, or foster healthy digital habits, this group is here to support you.

This series will be facilitated by two Parent Wellness Experts and will meet for 3 consecutive weeks on Zoom:
