Empowered Beginnings: A Parent Education Group for Confident Breastfeeding

Prepare for and navigate your breastfeeding journey in this two-part discussion group designed to help parents feel emotionally grounded and physically ready for feeding their baby. Through expert-led discussion and space for honest questions, participants learn how to understand their body’s cues, build a strong milk supply, navigate common challenges and transitions, and create a nurturing environment that supports both parent and baby. Just as importantly, the group focuses on emotional support—normalizing the wide range of feelings that can accompany feeding and weaning, building resilience, and strengthening support systems at home.

Whether you’re a first-time parent or expanding your family, this group offers a welcoming place to learn, connect, and feel empowered as you prepare for one of the most meaningful parts of early parenting.

This series will be facilitated by a Parent Wellness Expert and will meet for 2 consecutive weeks on Zoom:

  • Tuesday, May 12, 12:00pm EDT/11:00am CDT

  • Tuesday, May 19, 12:00pm EDT/11:00am CDT
